About Madigan's Flowers

In 2002 Larissa Madigan entered the floral industry as an apprentice.

During her training she competed in and became an award winner at

'The Melbourne Flower and Garden show' 2 years running. 


She took her skills to shops in Sydney's Glebe and Brisbane's CBD while traveling

before returning to Melbourne to manage a shop in Surrey Hills.

After taking some time to study small business management she returned to floristry

specialising in weddings with her freelance business 'Sacred lotus floral design'

which was later renamed 'Madigan's Flowers'

Why chose Madigan's flowers?

At Madigan's flowers the person you consult with is the same person who

makes all of your floral arrangements & delivers your order, providing a far more personal service.

Because Madigan's Flowers is a freelance business

we are able to cater to a much larger delivery area then a bricks and mortar florist shop. 

This means we can cater to all of Melbourne's Metro area and surrounds.

but also keeps costs low so that you get the best value for money! 



How do I get a quote?

As Madigan's Flowers is an online business, Larissa can offer consultations via email or over the phone.

Unfortunately because M.F. does not have a shop front, face to face consultations are not available.

Where do I start?

There are 2 options for your bridal party.

Option 1: Choose from our set packages. 

Most of the packages can be tailored to suit your theme 

so please include your colour or foliage preferences if you would like to change anything .

Option 2: Send a picture of the bouquet you would like to copy.

Include any alterations to the bouquet you would like to make such as colours, foliage varieties, ribbon styles etc.

Other requirements: *Hair flowers  *Throw away bouquet  *Thank you gifts  *Parent buttonholes and corsages  *Ceremony pew or altar flowers  *Petals or flower heads for tossing  *Reception table arrangements  *Decorations   *Cake flowers  *Arbor 

Please let us know if you would like to copy a design that you have seen

on our Real weddings or Set packages page.

Otherwise you can send a picture of something you would like to copy.

Once we have all of the required information you will receive a written quote

that breaks down the style, colours, flowers and foliage (including pictures) of each item

along with itemised pricing, a total cost and the amount required as a deposit.

Information required from you:

Date of wedding. 

Contact email and phone number for Bride and/or Groom.

Delivery suburbs for bouquets, buttonholes, ceremony and reception.

Ceremony and reception times.

Number of people in your bridal party.

Style, colours, flower and foliage varieties for bouquets and buttonholes.

Additional requirements: Quantity, style, size, colour and content.

Where in Melbourne do you deliver?

We can deliver your wedding flowers directly to you in most parts of the Melbourne metro area

and surrounding towns.  Please email or call Larissa to discuss your options.

When do my flowers get delivered?

Your flowers will be delivered to Bride, Groom, Ceremony and Reception at times that best suit you.

Bouquets and buttonholes are usually an hour or so before the ceremony.

Ceremony & reception flowers will be setup at a time that fits with the venue.

How far in advance do I have to book?

Most weddings are booked 3-6 months in advance

but smaller weddings may be catered to with 4 weeks notice.

Maximum booking is 12 months in advance.

How much are my wedding flowers going to cost?

Ceremony and reception items will requite more information in order to quote.

Can I create a unique design?

You certainly can.  Check out our Bespoke designing page and call or email Larissa. Send an inspo pic or let us know your favorite flowers, style and colours and Larissa will put together a quote for your special day.

How do I place an order for Home delivery?

When you require a home delivery within our delivery area (pictured in the map below)

please contact Madigan's flowers with the following information. 

Budget $50, $80, $150 etc..

Colours: Bright, soft or white

Name and address of recipient.

Delivery date.

Your email address.

A paypal invoice will be emailed to you and once payment is made the order is secured.

0419 156 498 or email between 9am and 4pm.

*For same day delivery you will need to call or email before 11am.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to Melbourne's Bayside area from St Kilda down to Frankston.

If you require delivery outside of this zone it may be negotiated if given enough notice.

What time will my order be delivered?

Same day deliveries are completed between 11am and 4pm.

Morning deliveries can be organised if  your order is placed at least 24 hours in advanced. 

You will need to let us know if this is required when you place your order.

What happens if the recipient isn't there?

It is important that you confirm prior to placing your order,

that the recipient will be at the chosen address during the delivery hours. 

*If the recipient is not home, the flowers will be left at

the entrance of the home, out of sight and out of the sunlight.

*If the recipient is not at the workplace, the flowers will be left with a coworker.

*If the flowers can not be delivered you will be contacted and

a follow up delivery will be required at an addition cost of $10


Can I cancel my order once it's been paid?

As Madigan's Flowers is an online business we do not hold stock.

  We only purchase fresh flowers from our wholesaler as we need them. 

If you cancel an order after the flowers have been purchased

then a 50% refund will be issued back to you.
